See connections
Which app connects where, the destination’s country, city and network provider, and how much data it sends.
Pavu watches what the apps on your Mac do online and what changes on your system, alerts you when something looks risky, and lets you block a program's new connections. Everything is analyzed on your Mac.
Illustration only. From here you can block this program’s new connections, or mark the behavior as expected; both can be undone.
PRODUCT
The macOS preview shows what your apps do, flags behavior worth checking, tells you right away, and lets you act.
Which app connects where, the destination’s country, city and network provider, and how much data it sends.
Built-in rules check network activity and changes to your system. If a rule lacks the data it needs, Pavu says so instead of reporting “safe”.
New findings arrive as macOS notifications, with the reasons and the evidence behind each one.
Block a program’s new connections, or turn on automatic blocking for a rule; programs that come with macOS are never blocked. Every decision can be undone.
PRIVACY
PAVU OBSERVES
PAVU NEVER COLLECTS
Nothing is uploaded. Activity history stays on your Mac and is kept for 24 hours by default. You can pause monitoring or clear it.
Locations come from a database built into the app, so IP addresses are never sent anywhere; Pavu only downloads its monthly update, which you can switch to manual. IP location data by DB-IP.com (CC BY 4.0).
